This resort encompasses 1,500 acres adjacent to Disney World and Epcot. The hotel offers a shuttle throughout the property and to the neighboring theme parks.
For recreation, the resort offers an 800,000 gallon outdoor pool, 12 waterfalls, waterslides, sundeck, game room, and whirlpools. Resort offers a racquet club with 12 tennis courts, two racquetball courts, and a basketball court. The resort offers 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus designed golf and a golf academy for instruction in addition an equestrian center with Western and English riding. Lake Windsong, a 21-acre private lake, has its own white-sand beach with non-motorized water sports. Guests can also jog, bike, and walk along the many outdoor trails and paths.
The resort offers the choice of five restaurants. For Sunday brunch and fine dining, there's La Coquina. For casual dining by a waterfall, guests head to Cascades. Hemingway's and its Hurricane Lounge offer a poolside refuge with seafood and tropical drinks. The White Horse Sports Bar and Grill serves hearty meals, and the Palm Cafe offers pizza and other snacks. Guests can enjoy cocktails and evening entertainment at the Trellises, a lively bar near the main lobby. Papillion located poolside is yet another place to imbibe.
