This location is also one mile from EPCOT, two miles from Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, five miles from Magic Kingdom Park and MGM Studios, and nine miles from Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Resort amenities include the Creole dining, Doubloon Lagoon (a themed water area with dragon waterslide and alligator fountains), playground, arcade, shopping at Jackson Square Gifts and Desires, and access to Ol Man Island water recreation area at the riverside. For dining and refreshments, the resort houses Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (food court), Boatwright's Dining Hall (full-service restaurant with southern specialties), and Scat Cat's Club.
